Warm Goat Cheese
Ingredients
- 4oz goat cheese
- pinch of sea salt
- 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp Winemaker’s Kitchen Buzzed Raw Honey
Instructions
In a small ramekin, add goat cheese. Put in microwave for 30 seconds to warm up. Take out of the microwave and top with sea salt, red pepper flakes and TWK honey. Enjoy with crackers and a glass of LaBelle Winery Moscato. Enjoy!
Bread Pudding
Ingredients
Stale croissants and bread ends, kept and frozen in zip lock bags
9 whole eggs
2 cups heavy cream or half and half
2 cups milk
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
Generous pinch of sea salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Pull apart bread and croissant into pieces. Place in a baking dish, sprayed with cooking release spray. Let them dry out for a few hours.
Mix all wet ingredients together. Pour over torn bread in the baking pan and fluff with a fork to coat all pieces. Let soak in for an hour before baking.
Preheat oven to 375. Cover baking pan with bread mixture with aluminum foil and bake for one hour or until custard is set.
Serve with Maple Syrup, Whipped cream and bacon bits if desired. Enjoy!
The Winemaker’s Kitchen Old Fashioned
Ingredients
2 oz Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey
½ oz The Winemaker's Kitchen Red Wine Sauce
½ ozThe Winemaker’s Kitchen Pure Maple Syrup
dash Stirrings Blood Orange Bitters
1 orange slice
1 Luxardo cherry
Instructions
Muddle the orange slice, cherry and bitters in the glass. Add Uncle Nearest Whiskey, The Winemaker’s Kitchen Red Wine Sauce and The Winemaker’s Kitchen Pure Maple Syrup. Stir, add ice, and garnish with an orange peel.
Winemaker’s Tip - To add taste, run the outside of an orange peel around the rim of the glass first.
