Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 shallot or scallion, minced
- 1 Tbsp red pepper flakes or Aleppo pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, roughly chopped
- 1 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup the Winemaker’s Kitchen Lemon Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp LaBelle Winery Moscato
- Pinch sea salt
Instructions
Combine shallot and red pepper flakes. Smash together. Add cilantro, parsley and oregano and mix together. Add red wine vinegar, olive oil and moscato and stir. Add sea salt to taste. Serve as a sauce with your favorite steak. Enjoy
Blackberry Gin Limoncello
Ingredients
- 1 oz Gin
- 1/.5 oz Limoncello
- 1/4 cup blackberries, fresh
- splash of raspberry seltzer water
- .5 oz fresh lime juice
- 1oz LaBelle Winery Seyval Blanc Wine
- mint leaves for garnish
- extra blackberries for garnish
Instructions
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries until all their juice has been extracted. Add the gin and limoncello, seltzer, lime and wine. Shake well with ice. Pour over your glass of choice through a strainer to remove all seeds and berry pulp. Garnish with mint and blackberries. Enjoy!
Cilantro Lime Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups white rice
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 Tbsp the Winemaker’s Kitchen lemon olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 Tbsp the Winemakers Kitchen salsa and guacamole seasoning
Instructions
Before cooking the rice in a rice cooker, according to manufacturers instructions, rinse the rice. Add all of the ingredients listed above. Give the rice and ingredients a quick stir and turn the rice cooker on. If you don’t have a rice cooker, you can do this on the stove top in a pan using a ratio of two to one - water to rice. Cook until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
